How to Raise Silverhead Kili?
Living Environment
First, you need a suitable aquarium with a minimum capacity of about 30 liters.
For Silverhead Kili, it is better to use a long tank than a tall tank because they like to swim in the middle and top water layers.
Provide a sand or small gravel substrate along with aquatic plants to create a natural environment for the fish, giving them a suitable place to lay eggs.
The water filtration system must ensure good function to maintain stable water quality.
The tank must have a lid because Silverhead Kili are excellent jumpers and can jump out of the tank if not careful.
Check the pH, temperature and water quality regularly. The ideal pH for Kili is in the range of 6.5 – 7.5, the temperature is about 22-28 degrees Celsius.
Change the water periodically about 30-50% of the water in the tank each time, once a week.
